Lifehacker: Do it yourself and help yourself

“Tips and downloads for getting things done.”

Lifehacker is a great site for do-it-yourself and self-help advice. With a very creative and tech savvy writing staff, Lifehacker’s area of specialty is utilizing available technologies to save time and money. But recent posts cover topics as diverse as separating eggs with a water bottle, how to convince your boss to let you try a 4 day work week, and how to turn a dresser into a desk.

The Lifehacker search function works great; try typing in keywords for a weird problem and see if the Lifehacker writers have written about a solution. But what I like best about Lifehacker and the reason it’s a blog worth following are all the surprising, clever solutions to problems I didn’t know I had.
