Bluebirds at the Harrisonville library

Image of a bluebirdMonday, November 5, 6:30 p.m. at the Harrisonville library.

A family program all about our state bird! Learn about attracting and feeding bluebirds, their habitat and nesting preferences, and how to keep them around over winter. Hear a real bluebird call and learn how to grow mealworms (see the real bugs!) See a bluebird nest with bluebird eggs, and take home plans to make your own bluebird house. Lots of authoritative information from an expert in the field, along with activities for younger children. Geared to adults and students of all ages! Program presented by Larry Dobson, Vice President of the Missouri Bluebird Society.

Here is the Missouri Bluebird Society’s website and here they are on Facebook.
