On the Same Page: Life of Pi

Life of Pi book cover imageThere’s still time to participate in our annual community read project, On the Same Page. This year we’re reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel throughout February and March. It’s a story about stories, and features a young man in a lifeboat with a Bengal tiger. Participation in any of the discussions earns you an entry in a drawing to win a Kindle Fire or other great prizes.

Book discussions:

  • Archie: March 14, 5:30pm
  • Garden City: March 27, 6:00pm
  • Harrisonville: March 25, noon; & March 25, 6:30pm
  • Northern Resource Center: March 27, 6:30pm
  • Pleasant Hill: March 26, 6:00pm

This was an amazing book. I loved the insights about zoo keeping, religion, and survival. Thanks for hosting this discussion

Thank you for participating! I enjoyed reading all the comments. Watch for our community discussion next year. We should post information sometime in January 2014.
